Tuning is DGDGBE (I guess you'd call it drop DG?)
Let me start by saying that this tab is not exactly note-for-note and it may not be 100%
perfect -- that is for another man with far more time on his hands. I’ve tabbed out the
main parts the best I can, but it will require you to be adept with travis picking and
finger style guitar to listen for the number of minute variations that Ben plays. You
should also easily be able to figure out when to repeat what parts and when.
Also of note is the tuning. To play this by yourself, you need to drop the bottom E and
A down a full step to D and G. However, at the bottom of this tab, I’ve also tabbed out
how to play it in standard tuning with two guitars. This is much easier for a beginner,
and sometimes sounds better because you can experiment with different effects on each
guitar to make the song even more atmospheric.
