The Pig Anorexia Tab

Ok, I spent some time tonight figuring out this song because no one seems to have the
answer that is The Pig.

It took a good couple hours for me to do this... but I imagine its not perfect. I
imagine its sloppy... but we'll see.

Your main chords are:
Em, C, B, A. Don't worry though, they're not your full Happy CBA, we've got the intense
C, B, and even A that this song needs.

The song's timing is really simple. You hold almost everything for either 8 beats, or 4 beats.

The Intro 0:00 (x2):
Pre-summary: em x8, C x8, B x8, A x6. D x2 as shown below.

e|-----------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------2-2-2-2-2-2-0-0|
D|--2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-5-5-5-5-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-2-2-0-0|
A|--2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0|
E|--0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0------------------------------------------------|

Verse 1 0:32 (x2):
Verse one is just chords. I like to play them up high.
em as: C as : B as: A as:
D:-5- D|-10- D|-9- D|-7-|
A:-5- A|-10- A|-9- A|-7-|
E:-7- E|-8- E|-7- E|-5-|

The rythym for verse doubles in speed the second time through- listen for it!

The Intense Part 1:35
The Chords are the same but this time there is a lead part!

The way I play the lead: (x2)

Now for the break (2:40): the part before this ends on a large and epic Em chord. This
part is mostly vocal and piano but theres some light guitar stuff going on in the back ground.
I'm not entirely sure whats going on, but I think its just sitting on the Em Chord... until...

The Pig (3:12):
THe Pig part is very easy to play. You take an E Chord
E|
B|
G|
D|-9-
A|-7-
E|-0-

and you play it to the rythym and bend appropriatly. You'll bend the A and D strings.
Listen to the song, and you'll hear it! The bend is fast- bend and come back quickly!
Thats it for the Piggy Part! It ends on a stream of just the E, no bending, while the
heavy electric guitar strums an Em Chord with his volume turned off,
and then slowly turns the nob from 0 up to probably as high as it goes... creating that
awesome... whatever effect at (3:40)

Pre-Outro (3:44)

The Pre-outro is em(x4) to C (x3) B(x1) A(x4)
And then a new little thing you must learn:
The last two chords are played
D# or Eb (x8):
e|---
B|---
G|-8-
D|-8-
A|-6-
E|---

So, em (x4) to C(x3) to B(x1) to A(x4) Eb(x8)
I play these chords down lower on the neck, except for the Eb. The Eb is played much
faster than the other chords.
You play this entire set of chords 4 times.

Ending 1 (4:16): The ending is pretty much Em- Eb.

The Em pattern is : 2-3-3-3-3-3- then play Eb 8 times.
You do this pattern twice.

Ending 2 (4:32)is still Em- Eb but in a new pattern.

You play Em x 5, break. Em x5. Break. Em x5. break. then Eb x 8

You play (Ending 2) Twice through and then the song ends.

Hope this Helps, and I apologize if it was extremely lengthy! Good luck, and may raw
rock kill you forever. Amen.
