Number System Tab

The number system is not hard to learn. It is a system of numbers that stand for a certain chord.

If I put the numbers 2- 7b 1 2- in the key of C, that would be a d minor b flat, C, d minor.

This is a way to read music.

I will now put the keys and numbers for all the chords in a certain key.

These are the scales and key numbers. The number with a dash by it is a minor chord like 2- in
C is a d minor. A number with a b by it is a flat. The other symbols
stand for obvious things that you can figure out. This is called th nu-
mber system. Any song tab I do will be in this system. So you need
to learn it if you want to read what i tab. Good luck.
