Reason I'm Alive Tab

Drowning Pool – Reason I’m Alive

This is my first ever tab, which I’ve decided to share because I couldn’t
find tabs for this song anywhere myself, so this is just how I’ve worked
the song out. I’m not positive it’s perfect, but it sounds like it is to me.

Tuning: all the strings tuned down to bb, and drop D

Part 4 - “I never wanna feel again…” (x1):

I’ll just give you the chords for this part, as I’m a busy/lazy man. It’s
up to you whether you strum or pluck at this point. I use a combination
of both. Note that you only play 5 strings due to the drop D.

Ebb 1 3 0 1 0 1 3 0 0
Bbb 3 3 1 1 1 3 3 1 2
Gbb 2 3 0 2 0 2 3 0 2
Dbb 0 5 2 3 2 0 5 2 2
Abb 0 5 3 0 3 0 5 3 0
Dbb x x x x x x x x x

Part 5 – “you’re the reason…” (x3):

This part is strummed, then on the third time you play it, you play the
third chord for longer, skip the fourth and return to Part 1 of the song

Ebb 1 3
Bbb 3 5
Gbb 3 5
Dbb 3 3 5 5
Abb 1 3 3 5
Dbb x 3 x 5

Then back to Part 1 (x1 this time), Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 again,
followed by:

Part 6 – “I I, I’m rising up…” (x3)

Here “/” is where you mute the strings

Ebb 3
Bbb 5
Gbb 5
Dbb 0 / 33 / 5 / 55
Abb 0 / 33 / 3 / 55
Dbb 0 / 33 / x / 55 3 5* 3

* here you bend the string on the 5th fret to get the note on the 7th

Then back to part 5, and end with:

Ebb
Bbb
Gbb
Dbb 0 /
Abb 0 /
Dbb 3 5* 3 0 /

HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY :D
