Tuning: Standard (Woot!)

Hello Ladies and Gents,
This my version of Can't find my mind by The Cramps!
Before you start jumping into it, be warned!
I am fully aware that The Cramps use dueling guitars and NOT a bass.
However, I put these up because i do not have a guitar to play on and it can be
easily altered.

Now..... (drum roll please)
This song can be played anywhere on the bass(!!!!) much like any song.
This is probably not exactly like the song but this is how I play it.
(I say MY VERSION because it MAY NOT BE EXACT)
As I stated early, if it's not to your liking you can always move it up, down,
left or right (where ever you see fit) to supplement your needs!
Seriously same pattern on ANY key can make a world of difference!

I hope this works as a good enough guide line for all you crazy cats out there!

********* Playing this song muted works REALLY well too**********

Can't Find my Mind by The Cramps:

    (0:00- 0:26)
G|--------------------- \
D|-------5-7-8-8-7-5--- \ play this part
A|---7-7--------------- / however many times necessary
E|--------------------- /

[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/c/cramps/cant_find_my_mind_btab_ver_2.html ]
    (0:27-0:30)
G|-------5-7-8-8-7-5-----5-7-8-9-8-7---|
D|---7-7--------------7-7--------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|
This part right here--^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

you can play it twice instead of once.
Now, what I mean to say is,
if you like that "augmented" E sound(or G9[G string 9th fret]) then you can
replace the beginning of this bar(section) with the part that has that augmented E.
I like to play it as written above because it gives the melody more of a build up
and then pop.
play it as YOU want.

  (0:31- 0:36)
G|---------------------|
D|-------5-7-8-8-7-5---|
A|---7-7---------------|
E|---------------------|
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ play this twice then slide from G to B
or 5th fret D string to 9th fret D string
    (0:36-0:40)
G|--------12-12-11-11-12-12-12---|
D|--/-9-9------------------------|
A|-------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------|
          ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
               ^^^^
I like playing that above with my B on the D string to give it that choppy power chord kinda sound

(0:40- End of song)
Is pretty much a repeat of everything above.

Well there you have it!!!
That is the song in a nut shell, that is if you wanna play it on bass

now like I stated this is a guide line for what I think sounds solid; feel free to
take it and run with it in whichever which way you can.

If you have any criticism or would like guitar tabs feel free to let me know,
comments are greatly appreciated!
