This isn't really a guitar song, but this is a good guide to what the piano is playing.

Chords defined:
     Low to high
B7: x2120x
Em: 022000
Am6: x32210 this could be called Am/C as well
G: 320033 or 355433 (I think the latter, the bar chord, sounds better - relative to capo)
D6: xx0432
D: xx0232

Capo 1!

4. The Scientist
an incredibly simple but fantastic song to play on an acoustic guitar!

there seems to be a lot of confusion about the key of the song. it does state below
that a capo is required but for those that don't have a capo i have taken the liberty
of putting a set of chords on which do not require a capo and will allow you to play
along with the cd.

10. A rush of blood to the head
Verse

            Am C/G
He said I'm gonna buy this place and burn it down.
Em Am
I'm gonna put it six feet underground.
Am C/G
He said I'm gonna buy this place and watch it fall.
Em Am
Stand here beside me baby in the crumbling walls.
Am C/G
Oh I'm gonna buy this place and start a fire.
Em Am
Stand here until I fill all your hearts desires.
Am C/G
Because I'm gonna buy this place and see it burn.
Em Am
And do back the things it did to you in return.

 Fmaj
Huhuuuuuuh Huhuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Pre-Chorus

      Am C/G
He said I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war.
Em Am
If you can tell me something worth fighting for.
Am C/G
Oh and I'm goina buy this place is what I said.
Em Am
Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head.

Chorus

Fmaj D
Honey, all the movements you're starting to make.
D Fmaj
See me crumble and fall on my face.
Fmaj D
And I know the mistakes that I have made.
D Bb Fmaj
See it all disappear without trace.
Fmaj D
And they call us, they beckon you on.
D Bb Am C/G Em
Am Am C/G Em Am
The said start as you mean to go on. Start as you mean to go on

Verse

      Am C/G
You said I'm goina buy this place and see it go.
Em Am
Stand here beside me, baby watch the orange glow.

Am C/G
Some will laugh, some just sit and cry.
Em Am
But you just sit down there and you wonder why.

Pre-Chorus

Am C/G
So I'm goina buy a gun and start a war.
Em Am
If you can tell me something worth fighting for.
Am C/G
And I'm goina buy this place is what I said.
Em Am
Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head, oh to the head.

Chorus

Fmaj D
Honey, all the movements you've started to make.
D Fmaj
See me crumble and fall on my face.
Fmaj D
And I know the mistakes that I have made.
D Bb Fmaj
See it all disappear without trace.
Fmaj D
And they call us, they beckon you on.
D Bb Am C/G
 Am Am C/G Em Am
They said start as you mean to go on. Need to go on Need to go on.

Am
So meet me by the bridge

Em
When am I going to see
Am

Am
Meet me on the road
C/G
Meet me where I said

D A E G
Come on, oh my star is fading
D A E G
And I swerve out of control
D A E G
If I, if I'd only waited
D A E G
I'd not be stuck here in this hole.

chorus:
E G
But time is on your side
              D A
It's on your side now
E7 G
Not pushing you down and all around

It's no cause for concern
