Merry Christmas, Alabama
(Jimmy Buffett & Matt Betton)

Merry [E]Christmas, [G#m7]Ala[C#M7]bama [A]
Merry [E]Christmas,[F#m7] Tenne[Bm7]ssee [C#]
Merry [F#m7]Christmas, [B]Louisi[E]ana[C#M7]
To St. [F#m7]Barths and the Florida [B9 or B7]Keys

Merry Christmas, Mississippi
Where I started this wild and crazy run
Such a long way from that first birthday
Merry [F#m7]Christmas, [B]every[E]one

(bridge)

And merry [F#m7]Christmas, [B]Colo[E]rado..[G#m7]
Though far [A]from you [B]all I have [Bm]roamed [C#]
'Tis the [A]season [B]to re[C#m7]member
All the [G#m7]faces,[E]
And the [A]places that were [B9]home...
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/b/buffet_jimmy/merry_christmas_alabama_crd.html ]
'Tis the season to remember
And to count up all the ports of call I've known
And to thank His mercies tender
For I'm never far from home

(instrumental)

Merry Christmas to my saints and guardian angels
Who protect me as I roam
'Tis the season to remember
All the faces
And the places that were home

Guess my life's moved at near light speed
Since I started this wild and crazy run
Such a long way from that first birthday
Merry Christmas, everyone

'Tis the season to remember
No we're never far from home
Merry Christmas, everyone.

As I listen to the tune I find all of these chords (either in full or in part)
played by the piano or other instruments. Doing a solo or smaller band arrangement
you could probably omit several of them and the tune would still hold up well and
sound great. Just play it slowly using all or most of them and then decide which
ones you want to keep or simplify. I didn't chord redundant verses. Anyway...

Chords I used were:
E=022100, A=X02220, G#m7(B6)=46444, F#m7(A6)=242222,

C#M7(E6)=446454, Bm7(D6)=224232, C#=X35553, B=X24442,

Bm=X24432, B9=X21222 or B7=X21202
