The Lazy Song Tab

Song: The Lazy Song
Artist: Bruno Mars
Tabbed by: Christ12

This song is played with the three chords B, F# and E.
For playing the song you can just strum those as bar chords:

          B F# E
e |-------7------| |-------9------| |------7------|
B |-------7------| |-------8------| |------9------|
G |-------8------| |-------8------| |------9------|
D |-------9------| |-------8------| |------9------|
A |-------9------| |-------9------| |------7------|
E |-------7------| |--------------| |-------------|

But in the 'official' version, it is fingerpicked and muted as it is seen below.
The xxxxxxx means that you have to mute the strings by hitting them with your fingers.
To me it works the best if I the three highest strings with the three fingers wich
I use for picking them. This gives a more smooth motion.

        B F# E E
e|-----7--x--7--|----9--x--9---|-----7--x--7--|-----7--x--7--|
B|-----7--x--7--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|-----9--x--9--|
G|-----8--x--8--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|-----9--x--9--|
D|--------x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|--------x-----|
A|--------x-----|--9----x------|--7-----x-----|--7-----x-----|
E|--7-----x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|--------x-----|

These three chords are repeated all the way through the song.

The 'youtube-version' has a part with some kind of flute in the chrous, and this
can be played on guitar like this:
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/b/bruno_mars/the_lazy_song_tab_ver_6.html ]
e|------------------------|
B|-----7--9------9--7--0--|
G|--9---------------------|
D|------------------------|
A|------------------------|
E|------------------------|

            or

e|------------------------|
B|-----7--9------9--7-----|
G|--9---------------------|
D|---------------------9--|
A|------------------------|
E|------------------------|

If you play this with the other part it would be like this:

        B F# E E
e|-----7--x--7--|----9--x--9---|-----7--x--7--|---------------|
B|-----7--x--7--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|----7-9--9-7-0-|
G|-----8--x--8--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|--9------------|
D|--------x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|---------------|
A|--------x-----|--9----x------|--7-----x-----|---------------|
E|--7-----x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|---------------|

When you play the song it sounds nice to play the melody for the part where Bruno
sings 'Nothing at all...'

e|--------------------|
B|--9-----------7-----|
G|--------9---------9-|
D|--------------------|
A|--------------------|
E|--------------------|
   No - thing at all

Of course, this part can also be put together with the rest:

        B F# E E
e|-----7--x--7--|----9--x--9---|-----7--x--7--|--------------|
B|-----7--x--7--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|--9-----7-----|
G|-----8--x--8--|----10-x--10--|-----9--x--9--|-----9-----9--|
D|--------x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|--------------|
A|--------x-----|--9----x------|--7-----x-----|--------------|
E|--7-----x-----|-------x------|--------x-----|--------------|

This is pretty much it. Enjoy!
