This is my first real shot at a tab. So here it is...

/ = Slide up
\ = Slide down
~ = let ring
h = Hammer on
p = pull off

Intro:

Nice clean sound (Light chorus and compressor)(use hybrid picking)

-------------------|------0------0-----0------------
---2---------------|----2-----------2---------------
-0-----------------|--3-------3---------------------
-------------------|--------------------------------

Verse:

This is the chord pattern, Timing is not tabbed, so
get the MP3 and play along with it for a bit.

-2--2------0---0--0--0------------------------------
-2--2------2---2--2--0------------------------------
-0--0------3---3--3--2------------------------------
---------------------3------------------------------

Pre-Chorus:

This is pretty right.

-------0h1--3~--|---------0h1--0~-----------xxxx----
----------------|---------------------------xxxx----
----2-----------|------2--------------------xxxx----

----------------|---------------------------xxxx----

Chorus:
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/0-9/3_doors_down/love_me_when_im_gone_tab.html ]
This is supposed to be heavy. (use a good heavy distortion)
Repeat as needed.

----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
-2----2--4-5--7--7-----------4-5-4------------------
-2----2--4-5--7--7----5------4-5-4------------------

1st chorus lick:

I'm not too sure about this, but it's close.

----------------|-----------------------------------
----------------|-----------------------------------
--------5-5-----|---------5-------------------------
--7--7------5---|---7--7-----7--5------5------------
----------------|-------------------7---------------
----------------|-----------------------------------

Repeat Verse:

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat chorus:

Now we have this new riff after the second chorus:

------------------------|-------------------------x-x-
------------------------|-------------------------x-x-
-2---4/5--5/7--7/9\7--5-|--2--4/5--5/7--7/9\7--5--x-x-
-2---4/5--5/7--7/9\7--5-|--2--4/5--5/7--7/9\7--5--x-x-
-0---2/3--3/5--5/7\5--3-|--0--2/3--3/5--5/7\5--3--x-x-
------------------------|-------------------------x-x-

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Now we have the solo. I have no clue how to play it at all.
But it's in A minor, so improvise with a pentonic scale with
a minor scale.

Then we have a simple riff to end the song:

-----------------------|----------------------------
-----------------------|----------------------------
-2----2-4-5---------2--|---2~-----------------------
-2----2-4-5---5-----2--|---2~-----------------------
-0----0-2-3---5-----0--|---0~-----------------------
--------------3--------|----------------------------
