The 3h5-3’s are easier if you slide it all, you’ll still get the same result.
And you can palm mute 1’s on the D string instead of 5’s but it doesn’t sound as good 
you don’t get that meaty mute as you do on the A string, but that’s just my opinion. Enjoy (:
