So in G/F# just press with you index finger the 6th string in 2nd fret,
and mute the 5th string, got it?
For the Dsus-D, just do a regular D [--0232] and press the 1st string with your pinky
in 3rd fret, then lift it up for the D.

Intro:
G - G/F# - Am - Dsus-D [x2]

G              G/F#
I walked across - an empty land
Am                          Dsus       D
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
G               G/F#
I felt the earth - beneath my feet
Am                      Dsus         D
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Em               Bm
Oh simple thing! Where have you gone?
C                                       D
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
Em             Bm
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
C                                           D
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

G            G/F#
I came across - a fallen tree
Am                        Dsus       D
I felt the branches of it looking at me
G                G/F#
Is this the place - we used to love?
Am                               Dsus     D
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of…?

Em               Bm
Oh simple thing! Where have you gone?
C                                       D
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
Em             Bm
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
C                                           D
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

Am                   G                D
   And if you have a minute why don't we go…
Am               G              D
   Talk about it somewhere only we know?
Am                   G           D
   This could be the end of everything
C                   D              G
So why don't we go, somewhere only we know?

I'm getting old and I need something to rely on

So tell me when you're gonna let me in
C                                           D
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

C                                D
So why don't we go, so why don't we go…?

Enjoy, it's a really nice song, this version is in Ab, Keane plays it in A,
so for their version is capo 2.
This is the way I play it, but maybe Jason plays it without capo
1/2 step down (he usually does), you can try it, just change the chords:

              EADGBe
   G = A     [-02220]
G/F# = Amaj7 [-02120]
  Am = Bm    [-24432]
Dsus = Esus  [022200]
   D = E     [022100]
  Em = F#m   [244222]
  Bm = C#m   [-46654]
   C = D     [--0232]

Well, this what I got for Keane and Lifehouse, that's it, mail me if you wanna comment,
