I know that this isn't right but then again none of the 'hey joe' on the 'net
are. It sounds good and works if you're performing it solo. I tabbed this for
standard tuning with an acoustic guitar so there's no solo. Enjoy!

(Intro)
|-0--0----------|---------------|----------------------|
|----3--0-------|---------------|----------------------|
|-------2--0----|---------------|------------2-------2-|
|-------------2-|---5----5----4-|-2--2--2h4-----2h4----|
|---------------|---5----5----4-|-2--2-----------------|
|---------------|-0----0----0---|-0--0-----------------|

Then chord progression
C,G,D,A,E (The rhythm isn't hard to work out...you can try making up your own.)

After the 'E' play;
|---------------|
|---------------|
|---------------|
|----0-----0--2-|
|-2-----2-------|
|---------------|
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/j/jimi_hendrix/hey_joe_tab_ver_4.html ]
After the third 'E'("you know I caught her messin' round with another man")play;
|---------------|
|---------------|
|----------0----|
|----0--------2-|
|-2-----2-------|
|---------------|

Then play as normal either missing out the solo or just playing the chords as
normal. The bass solo sounds quite good on the guitar though. I play;
|---------------|-----------------------|-------------------|---------------|  |---------------|
|---------------|-----------------------|-------------------|---------------|  |---------------|
|---------------|-----------------------|-------------------|---------------|or|---------------|
|---------------|-----------------------|-------------------|----0-----0--2-|  |---------------|
|-3-------------|-2--3--4--5------------|-4--5--6--7b-7b-7b-|-2-----2-------|  |----5-----5--7-|
|----0--1--2--3-|------------2--3--4--5-|-------------------|---------------|  |-7-----7-------|
							       (which ever is easiest for you)
Then carry on strumming the chords as before until the end of the song.
