This is one of my favorite Iron Maiden songs ever and I think it should be
played live more often. This is my first ever song I have tabbed completely.
I have actually been playing bass (or any other instruments) for only a year
now. It may not be the easiest one to start with, but I think the notes
should be 100% correct. I have not marked the timing but it should also be
accurate. I have based this tab on the bass track and the live performance
you can find in Youtube. Hope you enjoy it! Please rate and comment for any

Sorry if some parts look a bit confusing or tight. I just have wanted to get
the timing right, so that is why the notes on the higher frets are so close
to each other.

Steve does some extra galloping on those high notes, which can be heard
on the bass track. You can improvise a lot on this part so I have not tabbed
those little things.

Those G notes caused me also some problems, because it sounds a bit messy
on the bass track and it was hard to figure out whether Steve is playing
the octaves or if the strings are rattling against the frets causing it
to sound like he is playing the octaves. But I think I have got it right
since you can see Steve playing it like that live. If you find it too
difficult, you can just keep playing the low G.

This is the basic pattern of how you play this, but on the bass track you can
hear Steve filling some of those gaps quite randomly. You can play it quite
freely as long as you stick with the rhythm and the notes.

If someone has a good explanation for what Steve is doing during the
beginning of the solo, please tell me, because it sounds a bit confusing.
