This song is very easy on bass… It’s mostly guitar in the song, and the bass just follows the bass drum.

Standard tuning for a five string, or B, E, A, D

Intro 
-Let the first two notes ring.  And those are one’s, not eleven’s

The bass doesn’t do much, but you should be able to hear the changes.  He just slides up to 12 on E and then back down.  Just do variations around those notes to keep yourself awake.
