Tuning: Down a half step for sure. One in Drop "D" - if you want to.
So this one is interesting. It may sound a little messy
with the midi playback (on the Guitar Pro version) but I can assure you that
the two guitars are playing *slightly* different parts for certain.
I transcribed it with one guitar in standard tuning and one in Drop D to
show that it can be done either way.
The Drop D tuned guitar does sound meatier though
when barring all the way across for the G and F chords on the 6th string
so I think it sounds better this way. Of course, Def
Leppard uses 4 or 5 or 6 or more guitars to get it to
sound like this but you can do it with two.
Also, IF... there is guitar during the verse it is an effect
and it is an OCTAVE lower via an effect processor. I suppose you could follow
the bass line to add a little livelyness to it.
