Wake Up Bass Tab

ARTIST: The Walkmen
SONG TITLE: Wake Up

OK, this tab may confuse some. In the actual song, the bass comes in at 0:58,
but I started with the guitar riff at 0:29.

Play after the drum fill (0:29) "I'm chasing through my radio..."
G |-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |-------------------------4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|
E |-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-------------------------------------------------|

G |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
D |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
A |-------------------------4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|

[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/w/walkmen/wake_up_btab.html ]
Then it gets a little higher before the pre-chorus. "We had it wrong..."
G |---------------------------------------------|
D |---------------------------------------------|
A |-7-7-8-8-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-|
E |---------------------------------------------|

The low part. Sort of a pre-chorus. (0:59).
Sustain until you play the notes again.
G |----------------------|
D |----------------------|
A |----------------------|
E |-5----2--------5----2-|

Here's the chorus. "I'm trying to wake up..."
G |--------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------|
A |-4---------1---------4---------1------|
E |------5---------2---------5---------2-|

Play the verse like before (high part at the end of the 2nd playing)
Pre-chorus (played an extra 3rd time)
Chorus (only without vocals)
Trippy interlude into yet another chorus
Wierd bass line that I cant figure out
Chorus until the end
====================

The Walkmen is an AWESOME band! Check them out at THEWALKMEN.COM! You don't here much
about them, however. That's good though; I don't want them spoiled by mainstream life.

Enjoy!
