Notes:
I saw this tabbed before, and it was wrong. I've got the actual guitar tab (not chords)
this, and it's just the bass notes of the actual chords they use, so it was really easy
turn into chords

What you need to know how to use:
C ; F ; Am ; G ; Bm7 ; E (Optional to do E barred up 1 octave (starting at 12th fret as
to open))
-----------------

[Intro]

Am - Bm7
C - D - E (can be 12th or open, 12th is correct but it sounds okay down lower) - Am
Am - F - C
x2
Verses:

(Listen to song for beat)
(C C F G)
God, that was strange to see you again
Introduced by a friend of a friend
Smiled and said, "Yes, I think we've met before."
In that instant it started to pour

(F F Am G)
Captured a taxi despite all the rain
We drove in silence across Pont Champlain
And all of that time you thought I was sad
I was trying to remember your name

They pick the notes out on this bit, but if you're going for just chords, just play a C
this and the next verse (That's the only chord they play)

Verse:
(C C F G)
This scar is a fleck on my porcelain skin
You tried to reach deep, but you couldn't get in
And now you're outside me- you see all the beauty
Repent all your sin

(F F Am G)
It's nothing but time and a face that you lose
I chose to feel it and you couldn't choose
I'll write you a postcard, I'll send you the news
From the house down the road from real love

Am - Bm7
C - D - E - Am
Am - F - C (plays once before sings then plays to each round)
Live through this- and you won't look back.
Live through this- and you won't look back.
Live through this- and you won't look back.

(C C F G)
There's one thing I want to say, so I'll be brave
You were what I wanted, I gave what I gave
I'm not sorry I met you, I'm not sorry it's over
I'm not sorry there's nothing to save, I'm not sorry there's nothing to save

(F F Am G) a few times

Ends on
Am - Bm7
C - D - E - Am
Am - F - C

You have to change chords fast to get it to sound fully correct, but it's a beautiful song.
