"Price to Play" Staind Tuning: Guitar 1: Drop-D, one half step down (Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb) Guitar 2: (Gb, Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb) Notes: Ok, if you follow Mike Mushok's playing at all, you know he loves to tune extremly low. But, typically there is a guitar in Drop-D tuning a half step down in the track somewhere, so the songs can be played with a normal guitar. Mushok plays Guitar 2's part live, but I'm going to show you both ways (because most of us can't buy that new Ibanez Mike Mushok Baritone Guitar for the low tunings he uses.) The Sound: nice, nu-metal distortion with the eq controls roughly at; High: 5, Medium: 7, Low: 7, and a gain of about 6 or 7. Experiment, and see if you can find a better sound. This is just what the recording sounds like to me...
