"Even Flow" by Pearl Jam from the Epic release "Ten"
Music by Stone Gossard, Lyrics by Eddie Vedder
Tabbed by David Curtis

This is my first attempt at this so please bear with me. I've tried to
explain everything as well as I could.

Guitar 1: Open D tuning (D,A,F#,D,A,D)
Guitar 2: Standard tuning

Guitar 1 - Distorted
         Opening Riff:
D-------|-------------------------
A-------|-------------------------

Guitar 2 - Distorted
e-----------------------
B--5/7-7-X-5-7----------
G--5/7-7-X-5-7----------
D--5/7-7-X-5-7--6-5\3---
A--3/7-5-X-X-5--------5-
E-----------------------

Riff 1 (in 2/4 time)

Guitar 1 Riff 1A

B--5/7-7-X-X-X-7-X-7-7-
G--5/7-7-X-5-X-7-X-7-7-
D--5/7-7-X-5-X-7-X-7-7-

Chorus

Guitar 1
   D: Bb: C:
D----12-----8-----10--
A----12-----8-----10--
F#---12-----8-----10--
D----12-----8-----10--
A----12-----8-----10--
D----12-----8-----10--

That's how the chords are played. They go like this:

 D Bb D C

Continue this chord progression through chorus until:

 D C D C

Let the chords ring through the chorus'

E--8-8-8-8-8-9-9-10---X---

Solo
Guitar 1 plays Riff 2 with palm muting throughout most ofthe solo, then
drops out a little bit before riff 3 comes in. If you listen to the
song, you should be able to figure it out.

If you have the Hal Leonard book for this album, subtract 2 frets from every
note played in the solo (and all the little fills). That puts you in the
right key (D).

Riff 3 (bridge from solo back into chorus)
Guitar 1
D--------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------------
F#-------------------------------------------
D------X-10-X-12--10\------X-10-X-12--/14-12-
A--/12-----------------/12-------------------
D--------------------------------------------

Guitar 2 plays a D with lots of muting and scratching, growing louder and
louder until the chorus. Played like this:
e--5-
B--7-
G--7-
D--7-
A--5-

Outro Riff

Guitar 2 (with wah)
e---------------------------
B---------------------------
G--12-10---10-----------10\-
D-------12----10----10--10\-
