||=====================================||

I worked hard on this song to get the correct chords, the other posts have everything else right
but I believe these sound closer to those in the song.
The song uses a simple 5 chord pattern, repeating over and over, but listen carefully to the
strumming pattern otherwise the song just wont sound the same at all. The chords change slightly
during the bridge, but I have yet to figure these out.

Chord | E A D G B E
-------|-----------------
       |
Eadd9 | 0 2 4 1 0 0
C#m7 | X 4 6 4 5 4
Badd11 | 7 9 9 8 0 0
Am7 | X 0 2 0 1 0
Bm7 | X 2 4 2 3 2

Eadd9

                C#m7 Badd11
Isn't very difficult to see why
       Am7 Bm7 Eadd9
you are the way you are.
                   C#m7 Badd11
Doesn't take a genius to realise
       Am7 Bm7 Eadd9
that sometimes life is hard.
                C#m7 Badd11
It's gonna take time
         Am7 Bm7 Eadd9
but you'll just have to wait.
                C#m7 Badd11
You're gonna be fine
Am7 Bm7 Eadd9
but in the meantime.

            C#m7 Badd11
I'm over here, lady
       Am7 Bm7 Eadd9
Let me wipe your tears away.
                  C#m7 Badd11
Come a little nearer, baby
              Am7 Bm7
'cause you'll heal over,
Am7 Bm7
heal over,
Am7 Bm7
heal over someday.

|| Verse 2 ||
||=========||

I don't wanna hear you tell yourself
that these feeling are in the past.
No, it doesn't mean they're off the shelf
because pain is built to last.
Everybody sails alone
Oh, but we can travel side by side.
Even if you fail,
you know that no one really minds.

Don't hold on,
but don't let go,
I know it's so hard.
you've got to try to
trust yourself.
I know it's so hard.
so hard, yeah.

yeah you're gonna heal over.

Where she repeatedly sings "Heal over, heal over" during the chorus, simply repeat the last
transition between Am7 and Bm7 until the next line kicks in.

Bass and finger-picking also kick in during the second half of the second, but I have yet to transcibe this.

This is a beautiful song when played with the correct strumming pattern. Although the chords are
tricky(I am still a complete beginner), for some reason they all seem to flow into each other...

I will update this as soon as I get an ear for bass.
