Okay, strumming technique for the chord progression:
Use palm mute slightly
Hit single root (base note) of chord for 1/2 beat
Strum last four-five strings (melody party) Down for 1/4 beat then Up for 1/4 beat
That is 1 beat of the chord, just repeat that for the rest of beats etc
Finally, songs tags with D 6/9 Chord (1012x111212)
