Brook Fraser

3rd capo

Riff: Fmaj7 Am

Verse 1:
Fmaj7 Am
I am sitting still, I think of Angelique
                      Fmaj7 Am
Her mothers voice over me, and the bullets in the wall where it fell silent
Fmaj7 Am
And on a thousandth hill, I think of Albertine
                              Fmaj7 Am
There in her eyes what I don't see with my eye oh

Chorus:
     Fmaj7 C G
Rwanda, now that I have seen, I am responsible
Dm
Faith without deeds is dead
Fmaj7 C G Dm
Now that I have held you in my own arms, I cannot let go till you are

Verse 2:
I am on a plane across a distant sea, but I carry you in me
And in the dust on, the dust on, the dust on, the dust on, the dust on
The dust on my feet

Chorus

Interlude: Am Fmaj7 C

Bridge:
        Am Fmaj7 C
I will tell the world, I will tell them where I've been
        Am Fmaj7 C
I will keep my word, I will tell them Albertine

Chorus

Verse 3:
Fmaj7 Am
I am on a stage, a thousand eyes on me
                       Fmaj7 Am
I will tell them, Albertine, I will tell them, Albertine

The riff is played throughout the song except for the chorus and bridge.
The way I play with the riff and I think Brooke does too is along with Fmaj7,
we play Am/C where we continuously open the 3rd string.
Then to the Am where we do the same with the 3rd and 4th string.
And this is how I play some of the unconventional chords:
Am/C: x3221x Fmaj7: x3321x

Just to let you know this is how I interpret this song,
but you could always tweak it your own way so it sounds good to you.
Thanks.
