Loser Tab

Beck - Loser

Drop D tuning

use a slide for the main riff.
A lighter or channel changer or
anything with a smooth plastic or
glass surface should work.

Note: this song uses more than one guitar.

key:
/=slide up /w slide
\=slide down /w slide
s=slide with finger
~=whammy bar vibrato

e|------------------------------| (that open D note is where most of the tabs
b|------------------------------| I have seen mess up...and it makes a world
g|------------------------------| of diffrence)
d|-----------0--3/5-0----5\-----| at the end of the verse
a|--0---3/5-----3/5------5\\----| don't play the last slide
D|--0---3/5--------------5\\\---|
[ Tab from: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/b/beck/loser_tab_ver_3.html ]
the part thats played behind the chorus and verse sounds kinda
like a sitar, but reverb should work.
or, if you are playing on acoustic, try picking lightly right next to the bridge, so it
makes a little twangy sound.
e|-------0----2-2----0----------0---2-2---3-------------|
b|---3-3---3-------3---3----3-3---3-----3---3-----------|
g|------------------------------------------------------|
d|------------------------------------------------------|
a|------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------------|

the single chord that is played with the
whammy bar that sounds like 'wwoowwww' is simply:

e|---------------|
b|---------------|
g|---------------|
d|--0-~~~~-------|
a|--0-~~~~-------|
D|--0-~~~~-------|

play this at the end of the second verse:

e|---------------------------------------------------|
b|-----1-------1----3--1-----------1---------1-------|
g|-1s2----1s2-----------------1s2-----1s2------------|
d|---------------------------------------------------|
a|---------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------|

and this comes in behind the weird little breakdown/interlude thing.
right after "yo bring it on down" when the backwards jibberish starts.
e|-------------------------------|
b|---3---------------------------|
g|-------5---2-------------------|
d|-------------------------------|
a|-------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------|

there is all is...well, to the best of my knowlage, at least.
Put together by Rell.
